7. Connect the rear brake pipe to the brake hose.
8. Bleed the brake hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual Bleeding) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure
Bleeding).
Rear Brake Hose Replacement (8 1/2 and 9 1/2 Inch Ring Gear)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Clean dirt, grease, and other foreign material from the hose fittings on both ends of the brake hose before servicing brake
components.
1. Disconnect the rear brake pipe from the brake hose.
2. Remove the retaining nut and retaining clip from the front of the rear brake hose.
3. Disconnect the rear brake pipes on the rear axle from the brake hose.
4. Remove the retaining bolt of the rear brake hose from the rear axle.
