6. Reseal the engine oil dipstick tube.

Apply sealer, GM P/N 12346004 or equivalent to the top end of the oil level indicator tube at the joint.

Install the top half of the tube into the lower half of the oil level indicator tube.
7. Install the bolt securing the engine and transmission oil dipstick at the generator bracket.
8. Install the bolt securing the engine oil fill tube at the generator bracket.
9. Install the upper fan shroud retaining bolts to the top of the radiator.

Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
10. Install the coolant reservoir or surge tank.
11. Install the air intake duct from the throttle body.
12. Install the air cleaner assembly.
