Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
Auxiliary A/C System
Remove or Disconnect
1. Recover the refrigerant to the system.
2. The left body side rear trim panel.
4. The electrical connectors.
5. The auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube assembly from core by removing one retaining nut.
6. The four bolts retaining case to vehicle.
7. The auxiliary evaporator module assembly from vehicle.
8. The screws from case and split case open.
9. The evaporator core seal.
10. The evaporator core from case.
Inspect

The gaskets and seals for damage; if damaged, replace.
Install or Connect
1. The evaporator core into the case.
2. The evaporator core seal.

Reassemble the case halves.
3. The auxiliary evaporator module assembly to the vehicle.
4. The four bolts retaining case to vehicle.
5. The auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube assembly to the core with one retaining nut.
6. The electrical connectors.
7. The air outlet duct assembly.
8. The left body side rear trim panel.
9. Recharge the refrigerant to the system.

Check the system for leaks.
