Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Support lower control arm with a jack stand.
3. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the retaining bolts for the brake hose and the wheel speed sensor brackets.
5. Remove the wheel drive shaft (4WD only). Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings
and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair) .
