Disconnect the electrical connector from the speed sensor.
7.
Remove the speed sensor and the 0-ring from the transfer case.
8.
Add 1.0 Liter (1.06 quarts) of DEXRON(R)VI fluid, P/N 88861003 (in Canada, P/N 88861004) through the threaded speed sensor opening.
9.
Install the speed sensor into the transfer case with the new 0-ring seal.
Tighten:
Tighten the speed sensor to 17 N.m (16 lb ft).
10.
Connect the electrical connector to the speed sensor.
11.
Lower the vehicle.
