Lock Striker Replacement for Rear Door - Lower Position
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Mat Replacement - Stepwell) in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the lower striker (1) to the stepwell.
3. Remove the lower striker (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lower striker (1) to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the bolts (2) that retain the lower striker (1) to the stepwell.
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. Install the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Mat Replacement - Stepwell) in Interior Trim.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the side door upper striker (1) to the door.
2. Remove the side door upper striker (1) from the door opening.
