Subject: Unable to Adjust/Change Heater and Air Conditioning Control Selections (Replace Knob)

2008-2010 Chevrolet Express
2008-2010 GMC Savana
Condition
Some customers may comment on not being able to adjust or change a setting on the HVAC control using the control knob.
Cause
This condition may be caused by a broken HVAC control head knob.
Correction
Technicians are to install a new HVAC control knob, P/N 9376010.
1. Remove the original knob by pulling the knob straight outward, away from the HVAC control.
2. Install the new knob by aligning the flat edge of the knob retainer with the flat on the post, and pushing the knob onto the post.
