3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
4. Remove the power steering outlet hose from the power steering pump.
5. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the power steering gear.
6. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Installing Hoses Without Twists or Bends Notice .
1. Route the hose in the same position the hose occupied prior to removal.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .
2. Install the steering gear outlet hose to the power steering gear.
Tighten the hose fitting to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
3. Install the power steering outlet hose to the power steering pump.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
