2. Install the bearing on top of the differential case.

3. Install the differential side bearing onto the differential case by doing the following:

1. Install one of the following side bearing installers to the J 8092  (1) and place over the differential side bearing as shown:

For the 8.6 inch axle, use J 21784  (2)

For the 9.75 inch without RPO G80 or 10.5 inch axles, use J 24430  or the J 45900  (2)

For the 9.75 inch with RPO G80, use DT46725  (2)

2. Drive the bearing onto the differential case using the J 21784  , theJ 24430  , the J 45900  , or the DT46725  and the J 8092  .

4. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement (8.6 Inch Axle)  (See: Service and Repair/Removal and
