Express 1 Ton Van V8-454 7.4L VIN J SFI (1998)
4. Install the valve keepers as follows:

With compressed air still applied, compress the valve spring with the J 5892-C.

Install the valve keepers. Apply grease to hold the valve keepers in place.

Carefully release the spring tension. Make sure the valve keepers do not move. Remove the J 5892-C.

Release compressed air from the cylinder.
^
Remove the J 23590 from the cylinder head.
5. Install the spark plugs to the cylinder head.
6. Install the push rods into the engine block.
7. Install the valve rocker arms to the cylinder head.
8. Install the valve rocker arm cover to the cylinder head.
9. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery.
10. Install the engine cover in the vehicle.
11. Close the hood.
