4. Install the pinion flange yoke onto the pinion flange using the J8614-01.
5. Place the washer and the pinion nut on the pinion threads.
6. Tighten the pinion nut to the position indicated by the alignment mark (1) made during disassembly.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
7. Measure the rotating torque of the pinion.

Tighten the pinion nut to the required torque.
8. Fill the rear axle with fluid. Refer to Lubrication Specifications.
9. Install the propeller shaft to the pinion flange. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement-One Piece or Propeller Shaft Replacement-Two Piece.
10. Remove the safety stands.
11. Lower the vehicle.
