1. Remove the bolts that retain the door lock striker to the door opening.
2. Remove the door lock striker from the door opening.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the door lock striker to the door opening.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the door lock striker to the door opening and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear door opening frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement).

2. Remove the bolts (3) that retain the rear door upper striker (2) to the door opening.
3. Remove the rear door upper striker (2) from the door opening.
