Removal Procedure
1. Remove the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, 7.0L) (See: Cooling

2. Remove the upper oil fill tube bolt (1).
3. Remove the right engine mount and bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and

4. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (V8) (See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Starter Motor/Service and Repair)Starter
