Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
1. If the lower oil pan was replaced perform the following steps, otherwise proceed to step 4.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
Note: When routing the oil level sensor wire, ensure that the wire is routed along the side of the oil pan.
2. Install the oil level sensor (1) and bolt (2) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
3. Install the oil level sensor retaining clip (3).
4. Apply a 2-3 mm wide by 0.5-1.5 mm high bead of sealant to the lower oil pan mating surface. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
