Removal Procedure
1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and
Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging).
2. Remove the coolant recover reservoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling
System/Coolant Reservoir/Service and Repair/Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement).
3. Remove the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (Uplevel) (See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Grille Replacement (Uplevel))Grille
Replacement (Base) (See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Grille Replacement (Base)).
4. Remove the front evaporator hose nut (1) from the condenser.
5. Remove the evaporator inlet hose nut (1) from the front evaporator tube hose.
6. Remove the evaporator inlet hose from the front hose.
7. Remove the nut from the rear evaporator (If Equipped).
8. Remove the front evaporator hose from the vehicle.
9. Remove the sealing washers.
Installation Procedure
