Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
Caution: Refer to Installing Hoses without Twists or Bends Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Installing Hoses
without Twists or Bends Caution).
1. Position the power brake booster inlet hose (1) in the vehicle.
2. Connect the power brake booster inlet hose to the power brake booster (2). Hand tighten the fitting.
3. Raise the vehicle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. From the left front wheel well, connect the power brake booster inlet hose (1) to the power steering pump (2). Tighten the hose fitting to 34 Nm
(25 lb ft).
5. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Tighten the power brake booster inlet hose fitting on the power brake booster to 34 Nm (25 lb ft).
8. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power
Steering/Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair).
9. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
