Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement
Removal Procedure
Note: Clean the area around the sensor. Do not allow debris to enter the engine.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (2) from the oil pressure sensor.
3. Remove the oil pressure sensor (1).
Installation Procedure
1. Apply sealant to the threads of the oil pressure sensor, if necessary. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See: Engine, Cooling
