Auxiliary Battery and Tray Replacement (Diesel)
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the primary battery and the auxiliary battery negative cable (1). Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See:
Battery Cable/Negative/Service and Repair/Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
2. Disconnect the auxiliary battery positive cable fastener (2) from the auxiliary battery.
3. Remove the lower battery tray bolts (3) from the chassis frame.
4. Loosen the upper auxiliary battery tray bolts (1).
5. Lift the auxiliary battery tray (2) and battery from the upper frame bolts (1).
