One-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).

Note:  The following service procedure is to ensure that the U-Joint will be properly PHASED when installed.

2. Mark the relationship between the propeller shaft and the yoke.

3. Remove the retainer bolts.
4. Remove the retainers.
