Weatherstrip Replacement - Side Door Opening

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hinge pillar upper garnish. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service

and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar) in Interior Trim.

2. Remove the hinge pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar) in Interior Trim.

3. Remove the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front  (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front) in Interior Trim.

4. Remove the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side) in Interior Trim.

5. Remove the side door stepwell mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Mat Replacement - Stepwell) in Interior Trim.

6. Remove the retainers at the lower corners of the side door opening weatherstrip.

7. Pull the side door opening weatherstrip from the door opening pinch-weld flange.

8. Remove the side door opening weatherstrip from the vehicle.
