3. Connect the rear brake pipe and/or the front brake pipe to the EBCM unit.

Tighten the brake pipe to the EBCM unit to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Connect the brake pipe to the brake master cylinder.

Tighten the brake pipe to the master cylinder to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
5. Bleed the brake hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual Bleeding) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure
Bleeding).
Pipe Replacement (Rear Brake Front Pipe)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Always use double-walled steel brake pipe when replacing brake pipes. The use of any other pipe is not recommended and may cause
brake system failure. Carefully route and retain replacement brake pipes. Always use the correct fasteners and in the original location for replacement
brake pipes. Failure to properly route and retain brake pipes may cause damage to the brake pipes and brake system failure.
IMPORTANT: Brake pipes that run parallel to each other must maintain a 6 mm (1/4 inch) clearance.
1. Disconnect the rear brake front pipe from the EBCM unit.
