Front Side Door Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the bolts (5) that retain the door lock striker (4) to the door opening.
2. Remove the door lock striker (4) from the door opening.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the door lock striker (4) to the door opening.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts (5) in order to retain the door lock striker (4) to the door opening and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
