Express 3500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2008)
Remove the water deflector (1) from the left fender and the left brace (2).
Gasoline engine only: Remove the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in SI.
It is not necessary to remove the air cleaner or any brake lines from the master cylinder if the vehicle is equipped with a diesel engine
* Diesel engine only: Remove the two master cylinder nuts and reposition the master cylinder assembly up away from the UBEC
Remove the under hood bus electrical center (UBEC). Refer to Accessory Wiring Junction Block Replacement in SI.
Remove the junction block cover by pressing the cover tabs inward while lifting up on the cover. Remove the battery cable nuts (1).
Remove the cables. Loosen the three junction block bolts (2).
Remove the UBEC.
Remove the UBEC holding tray.
Remove the horn. Refer to Horn Replacement in SI.
