1. Negative battery terminal.
2. Loosen filler cap(s) to relieve fuel tank pressure.
3. Air cleaner assembly, extension (spacer), and gasket.
4. Electrical connectors to fuel injectors.
5. Fuel meter body cover attaching screw assemblies.
6. Fuel meter body cover. (Do not try to remove fuel meter body cover seal.)
7. Both injectors. Use a fulcrum under screwdriver blade. Carefully pry up under the ridge opposite connector end.
8. Lower (small) O-rings from nozzle of injectors, and discard.
9. Upper (large) O-rings, and discard.

INSPECT

Each injector for part number as shown in image. Replace each with an injector having same part number.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Lubricate new lower and upper O-rings with engine oil.
2. Push small O-ring on nozzle end of injector until it is against the fuel filter.
3. Upper O-ring over injector.
4. Each injector in fuel meter body cavity. Push down until it is fully seated, with electrical connector end facing generally at a right angle to throttle

shaft.

5. Fuel meter body cover.

Tighten
Fuel meter body cover screws to 3.2 Nm (28 lb. in.).

6. Negative battery terminal.

Inspect
With engine "OFF," and ignition "ON," check for fuel leaks.

7. Gasket, extension (spacer), and air cleaner assembly.
