Loosen clamps on the hoses connecting the upper and lower fuel tank filler necks to the fuel tank, see Figure 1, and vent line.

Support fuel tank and remove the fuel tank retaining straps.
5.
Lower fuel tank six inches (6").
6.
Remove lower fuel tank filler neck.
7.
Install new lower fuel tank filler neck.
8.
Reinstall fuel tank and retaining straps and torque nuts to 14 N-m (10 ft.lbs.).
9.
Tighten fuel tank filler neck and vent line hose clamps to 1.8-2.2 N-m (16-20 in.lbs.).
