Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair

J 23742 Ball Joint Separator
-
Or Equivalent
Remove or Disconnect
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and place floor stands under the front lift points.
2. The tire and wheel.
3. The tie rod from the steering knuckle.
4. The front brake caliper. Refer to Brakes and Traction Control.
Important: Support the caliper with a piece of wire to prevent damage to the brake line.
