Install or Connect

1. The retainer and insulators to the shock absorber stem.

Fully extend the shaft.

2. The shock absorber up through the lower control arm and spring.

Insert the stem end through the hole in the frame bracket.

3. The insulators to the stem.
4. The retainer to the stem.
5. The nut.

-

Tighten the upper shock retaining nut to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) while holding the stem with a wrench.

6. The bolts through the pivot holes to the lower control arm holes.

Tighten the lower shock bolts to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).

7. Remove the safety stands.
8. Lower the vehicle.
