Spare Tire: Service and Repair
Spare Tire Wheel Hoist

Remove or Disconnect

1. The spare tire from the hoist. Refer to "Spare Tire."
2. The retaining bolt from the hoist.

3. The pin and retainer clip from the hoist and the shaft.

4. The spare tire shaft and guide from the vehicle.
5. The hoist from the cross member.

Install or Connect

1. The hoist to the cross member.
2. The spare tire shaft and guide to the vehicle.
3. The pin and retainer clip to the hoist and the shaft.
4. The retaining bolt to the hoist.

Tighten the hoist retaining bolt to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
