Differential Cover: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise and support the vehicle with suitable safety stands.
2. Install the oil pan under the Axle carrier cover.
3. The rear brake liner bracket from the axle carrier cover.
4. The axle carrier cover retaining bolts from the axle.
5. The axle carrier cover from the vehicle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. The axle carrier cover to the vehicle.
2. The axle carrier cover retaining bolts to the cover.

Tighten the axle carrier cover retaining bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. The rear brake line bracket to the axle carrier cover.
4. Remove the oil pan under the axle carrier cover.
5. Fill the rear axle with oil.
6. Lower the vehicle.
