Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Master Cylinder Installation
Master Cylinder
1. Bench bleed the master cylinder.
2. Install the master cylinder.
3. Install the master cylinder mounting nuts. Tighten to 36 Nm (27 ft lb)
4. Install the support rods. Tighten:
Bolts to 25 Nm (19 ft lb).
Nuts to 23 Nm (17 ft lb).
5. Install the brake lines.
6. Bleed the brakes.
7. Release the parking brake.
