6. Radio.
7. Left defroster outlet from flex hose. 
8. Screw securing the left hand heater duct to the engine cover shroud.
9. Heater duct by twisting it down and then out.

10. Three bolts securing the wiper motor assembly to the cowl.
11. Wiper motor assembly.

Install

1. Wiper motor assembly.
2. Three bolts securing the wiper motor assembly to the cowl.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 7 N.m (62 lbs. in.)

3. Heater duct by twisting it down and then out.
4. Screw securing the left hand heater duct to the engine cover shroud.
5. Left defroster outlet from flex hose.
6. Electrical connector from the wiper motor assembly.
7. Transmission to the wiper motor crank arm.

A. Lubricate the inside of the socket with white-lithium grease (GM P/N 9985885) or equivalent.
B. Reach into access hole and squeeze drive link onto crank arm using pliers.

8. Radio.

Important: Wiper transmission assembly must be assembled to the crank arm past the second detent so that the seal is compressed to a maximum
height of 25 mm (1 inch).

9. Cowl vent grille.

10. Wiper arm assemblies.
11. Negative battery cable.
