avoid damage to parts and systems.
1. The bushings using a press.
2. The upper control arm to the frame.
3. The new bolts and nuts.
Important:

Refer to mandatory bolt direction.

Tighten front nut prior to tightening rear nut.

Tighten

The upper control arm nuts to 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.).

The nuts must be tightened with the control arm at the "Z" height.
4. The upper ball joint to the steering knuckle.
5. The brake hose bracket to control arm.
-
The brake hose bolts and the nuts.
-
Tighten the brake hose nuts to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
6. The wheel speed sensor harness to the upper control arm and secure it with one nut and bolt.

Tighten the wheel speed harness retaining nut to 24 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
7. The brake hose to the bracket.
8. The air cleaner from the vehicle. Refer to Powertrain Management.
9. The tire and wheel.
10. Remove the safety stands.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Check the front wheel alignment.
