Shift Solenoid Chart
DESCRIPTION
This electrical device is used to control fluid flow acting on the 2-3 shift valves. The solenoid is a normally open exhaust valve that is used with
the 1-2 shift solenoid to allow four different shifting combinations. The solenoid is attached to the control valve body within the transmission.

DESCRIPTION
This electrical device is used to control fluid flow acting on the 3-2 shift valve, which then controls the 2-4 band apply rate and 3-4 clutch release
rate. It is a pulse width modulated solenoid that operates on a negative duty cycle. This solenoid controls the 3-2 downshift feel and is attached to
the control valve body within the transmission.
