Fuel Level Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
Warning:  Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning   (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel/Service Precautions).

1. Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Pump Module Replacement   (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and

Repair/Fuel Pump Module Replacement).

2. Release the retaining tabs (2) on the reservoir body and begin to slide the level sensor out away from the reservoir.
3. Carefully slide the level sensor the rest of the way out of the reservoir.

Installation Procedure

1. Carefully slide the fuel level sensor into the slots on the reservoir.
2. Slide the sensor down until the retaining tabs (2) engage the sensor.
