Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LNF)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill-LNF)   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling

System/Service and Repair/Cooling System Draining and Filling/Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill))Cooling System Draining and
Filling (GE 47716 Fill)   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair/Cooling System Draining and Filling/Cooling
System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 Fill)).

2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LNF)   (See: Emission Control Systems/Catalytic Converter/Service

and Repair).

3. Remove the O2 sensor. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1   (See: Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service

and Repair/Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1).

4. Remove the turbo exhaust pipe heat shield bolts (1) and shield (2).
