Removal Procedure
Important:
*
The stub axle shaft sleeve and seal must be replaced together. DO NOT replace the sleeve or seal separately.
*
Do not damage the seal bore or the sleeve assembly. Fluid leaks may result.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
1. Remove the right drive axle assembly.
2. Remove the snap ring from the stub axle shaft. Discard the snap ring. Do not reuse.
3. Install the J 38868 and J 6125-1B into the stub shaft snap ring groove.
