Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Engine
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner
Housing/Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge tube from the purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (
See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Disconnect the EVAP purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (See: Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
4. Remove the EVAP canister valve purge tube.
