Impala V8-5.3L VIN C (2006)
5. Install the oil pan drain plug (430) and O-ring (429).
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Fill the engine with the appropriate amount and type of NEW engine oil. Refer to Capacities - Approximate Fluid and Fluid and Lubricant
Recommendations.
8. Check the oil level.
9. Install the oil fill cap.
10. Open the hood.
11. Reset the engine oil lift monitor, if necessary. Refer to GM Oil Life System - Resetting. See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Oil
