K 10 1/2 Ton Pickup 4WD L6-250 4.1L VIN D 2-bbl (1983)
1.
Install pickup coil, aligning tab on bottom of coil with anchor hole in housing.
2.
Install C-washer and/or retainer, as equipped, then install distributor shaft and rotate to check for proper clearance between pole piece teeth and
timer core teeth.
3.
Install tanged washer, spring and drive gear (teeth up) to bottom of shaft. Align drive gear and install new roll pin.
4.
Reverse remaining procedure to complete installation.
