K 1500 Suburban 4WD V8-4.8L VIN V (2003)
1. Install the new brake cable (2) into the rear brake cable mounting bracket (3) by pushing the cable into place until the locking tabs (1) snap into
place.
2. Install the park brake cable to the lever.
Note: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the rear park brake cable bracket bolt.

Tighten the rear park brake cable bracket bolt to 61 N.m (45 lb ft).
4. Install the park brake cable and the bolt to the lower shock absorber mount.

Tighten the park brake cable bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
