NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts to the exhaust pipe flange studs.

^

Tighten the nuts to 64 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).

3. Install a new U-bolt to the rear of the catalytic converter.

Tighten the nuts to 42 Nm (31 ft. lbs.). Install the clamp to the exhaust manifold pipe.

^

Tighten the nut to 12 Nm ( 106 inch lbs.).

4. .Check for clearance and alignment.
5. Lower the vehicle.
