REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Remove the negative battery cables.
2. Remove the electrical connector from the solenoid.
3. Remove the vacuum hoses.
4. Remove EGR Solenoid mounting bolt (2).
5. Remove the EGR solenoid (1).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the EGR solenoid (1).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install mounting bolt (2).
Tighten
Tighten mounting bolt to 6.0 N.m (53 lb in).
3. Install the vacuum hoses.
4. Install the electrical connector to the solenoid.
5. Install the negative battery cable(s).
