Removal Procedure
1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim.
2. Remove the two screws securing the transfer case control module to the bracket. The bracket is mounted on the l/P reinforcement.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the transfer case control module.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the electrical connector to the transfer case control module.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the two screws securing the transfer case control module to the bracket.

Tighten the transfer case control module screws to 8 Nm (71 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the lower instrument panel trim.
