6. Remove the oil filter adapter.
7. Remove the starter.
8. Remove the starter motor opening shield.
9. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines.

10. Remove the front drive axle tube mount nuts. 
11. Remove the lower drive axle bushing bolt (left).
12. Remove the rubber bell/housing plugs.
13. Remove the oil pan bolts and the nuts.

14. Remove the oil pan and the gasket, please refer to Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Engine Lubrication/Oil Pan, Engine/Service and Repair/

15. Clean the gasket surfaces on the engine and the oil pan.
16. Inspect the oil pan gasket for damage. Replace the gasket if necessary.
