Tachometer: Description and Operation
The Tachometer displays Engine speed in rpm. Voltage pulses are taken from the Ignition Control Module (Gasoline) or Generator (Diesel) and sent to
the Tachometer. Solid state circuits convert the pulse frequency to drive the pointer of the Tachometer.
