2. Install the cable to the backing plate by pressing the cable into place until locking tabs snap into place.
3. Attach the cable to the lever.
4. Install the cable to the mounting bracket until the locking tabs snap into place (standard cab).
5. Install the cable to the body mount until the locking tabs snap into place (extended cab).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
6. Bolt the cable to the differential (clips).

Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
