ADVANCE PIN HOLE PLUG SEAL, REPLACE
1.
Loosen advance pin hole plug seal by tapping with hammer.
2.
Remove plug and seal, Fig. 36.
3.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque plug to 75---100 inch lbs.

AUTO ADVANCE SEALS, REPLACE
1.
Remove advance pin hole plug.
2.
Remove spring side advance piston hold plug, plug, piston, spring and slide washer.
3.
Remove power side advance piston hole plug, plug, piston, and slide washer, Fig. 36.
4.
Disassemble both plugs and pistons.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque plugs to 20 ft. lbs.
