Air Injection Hose/Tube: Service and Repair
AIR System
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect hose.
2.
Remove the check valve.
3.
Unscrew the attaching nuts to remove from exhaust manifold.
4.
Remove the AIR pipe assembly.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install AIR pipe assembly.
2.
Tighten the attaching nuts to 28 N-m (20 lb. ft.).
3.
Install the check valve. Tighten check valve to 85 N-m (26 lb. ft.)
4.
Connect hose to check valve.
5.
Check system operation.
