Mode Door Actuator

Mode Actuator Location

Mode Actuator Replacement

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module (DERM) for access. See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions See: Body and

Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming

3. Electrical connector.
4. Screws.
5. Adjuster links from control lever.
6. Mode actuator.

Adjust

1. Electrical connector to the actuator.
2. Turn the ignition key to the run position and let the actuator position itself.
3. Turn off the ignition key.
4. Remove the actuator from the electrical connection.

Install or Connect

1. Mode actuator.
2. Screws.
3. Adjuster links to control lever.
4. Electrical connector.
5. DERM. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming
6. Negative battery cable.

Check circuit operation.
