Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
OIL FILTER ADAPTER
REMOVAL
1. Remove the oil filter.
2. Remove the oil cooler lines.
3. Remove the bolts.
4. Remove the oil filter adapter.
5. Remove the gasket and seal.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the oil filter adapter gasket.
2. Install the oil filter adapter.
3. Install the bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the oil cooler lines.
5. Install the oil filter.
6. Install the engine oil, as needed.
